Set amidst the backdrop of the Italian Alps, a group of passionate creators are guided by Margaret Maria on a journey of creative inquiry, freeing the mind and pushing sonic boundaries into the unexplored future.

‘Performers who want to find their unique signature, composers who are looking for ideas and inspiration, no matter where you are on your musical trajectory, we will explore how to expand into your own creativity; where you will find limitless choices and artistic freedom.’
This fundraising concert will be raising funds for scholarships to be made available to the ACWC and CMC memberships across Canada to apply and participate in this one of a kind program.

Performing are BIIMA faculty members, Maghan McPhee, Carl Philippe Gionet, Margaret Maria and former BIIMA participants, Taline Yeremian and Jada Alexiou.
In a program that celebrates Italy, ACWC and CMC composers, you will be treated to works by: Margaret Maria, Cecilia Livingston, Daniel Mehdizadeh (with a piece commissioned by the Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra), Carol Ann Weaver and more.
