This program is built around you.

From day one, we recognize that every singer is on their own path and at a different stage of development. Everyone has an equal opportunity to learn, grow, and be heard. When your journey is truly your own, there’s space to celebrate each other’s growth as well as your own.

Your voice, goals, repertoire, strengths, and areas for growth shape your two weeks in Breno. Through daily training, individual coaching, masterclasses, body-awareness work, and performance opportunities, you’ll build greater technical freedom, artistic confidence, and trust in your own voice.

More than a performance program

At BIIMA, performance is part of the process — not the purpose of it.

We believe singers grow when they have space to experiment, make mistakes, ask questions, and discover what works for their own voice. Our goal is not simply to prepare you for a final concert. It’s to help you leave Breno with greater technical confidence, artistic independence, and tools you can continue using long after the program ends.

Tuition: $4950 CAD

Not included:
Flights • Excursions • Single-room upgrades • Personal expenses

Accommodation:
Shared accommodation at Ostello di Valle Camonica. Single-room upgrades are available for an additional fee either on site at the Accademia Arte e Vita or at the Ostello di Valle Camonica.

AUDITION FOR BIIMA 2027

We’d love to meet you and hear you sing. Your BIIMA audition is the beginning of the learning process, not simply an evaluation. You’ll sing in a warm, supportive setting and then work directly with BIIMA founder Maghan McPhee in an interactive coaching session. Come as you are, share your voice with us, and leave with something new to take into your singing.
Prepare two contrasting selections from opera, art song, contemporary classical repertoire, or oratorio. One selection may be musical theatre.
Video auditions: Submit links to two selections.
In-person auditions: A professional pianist is provided.
Live Audition fee: $20 CAD
