BIIMA (and specifically Breno) was a great location for the summer program as I felt very immersed in the Italian culture but not overwhelmed because Breno is such a small town. I was very happy that we had classes such as the Italian language with Paolo as she was very knowledgeable of the Italian language, (it being her first) and it really helped me improve my singing and Italian language overall.

Voice Intensive Masterclass

One-on-one and Personalized Training. Making music at the convent in the Italian Alps, surrounded by the Italian language, inspires each artist to push themselves beyond what they think they are capable of and, with the guidance of their coaches, the artists grow tremendously in this short period of time.

Composition, Creativity and Improv Retreat

At BIIMA, creativity begins where boundaries end. This retreat invites you to step into your artistry — to create, explore, and listen deeply to the music that only you can make. It’s a space for freedom, curiosity, and authentic expression, where every sound, silence, and gesture becomes part of your unfolding voice.

Choral Retreat

The BIIMA Choral Retreat will provide an authentic and unforgettable cultural immersion in Breno, Italy for the active amateur choral musician. Choristers will spend two weeks living in the Italian Alps , developing musicianship and vocal technique, rehearsing repertoire, performing for local audiences, taking in performances, and making life-long connections and memories .
