Sara Mastrangelo’s Teaching Philosophy
“I believe that everyone can grow and learn in the right environment. As a young child, I learned with the Suzuki Method, in a nurturing environment. “Every child can” is one of the core principals of this method. Children are naturally curious and try new tasks without hesitation or fear. When we are able to step back into this mindset of being able to try new things without fear of judgement or failure, real growth is possible.
Each individual has their own ideas, abilities, strengths, weaknesses. While critical thinking is important for growth, positive thinking is key to success. I tailor the program around each violinist, working on problem solving in the practice room and ensemble skills with peers.”
Your program includes:
One-on-one lessons, masterclasses, ensemble rehearsals and coachings, performance mindset talks, ensemble and solo performance opportunities.
